Peak Slesova, Pamir

Studying the region, some of European climbers: French, Spain, Italian and English have come to make several great first ascents on the granite pillars. For example, the party from Britain - Ivan Green è Adrian Williams, climbed the 1000 meters route on the West Face of peak Asan (Karasu/Aksu). This region is for high class mountaineers ascents.

Last time this region again has became very popular among the foreigner climbers. In 1995 several routes were climbed here in "free climbing" style by Lynn Hill and Conrad Anker.
