On November 18th 1997, well known mountaineer from Kazakhstan - Anatoli Boukreev was back from USA where the successfull presentation of his book "The climb" took place.

On November 24th Anatoli Boukreev went to the Nepal capital - Kathmandu where he would meet famous Italian mountaineer Simone Moro.

They are going to climb Annapurna from South by new route -to the left from Bonington's one. The climb would be in alpine style without intermediate camps.

On November 26th they will go to Annapurna base camp. That will be the 5th ascent up to 8-thousander for Anatoli in this year.
