Come celebrate the spirit of mountain adventure!
The main goal of festival is popularization of mountain sport and outdoor activities. There will be the wide release of films about mountains, video rolls about mountaineering and rock climbing. We are looking for a films that express a personal vision on the part of the filmmaker.

Russian Mountain Federation/ Russian Mountain Club, Moscow Mountaineering and Rock Climbing Federation.
Our international jury plays an indispensable role in ensuring that fine film making is recognized and rewarded, and that our festival programming will continue to be of the finest quality possible. We thank them wholeheartedly.
Data and submission
Moscow: 23- 25 January 1998
Deadline: 30 December 1997.
Films in Competition can be submitted till 10th of January.
Jury will be selecting entering films since 10 till 22 of January.

Film lasting is no more then 30 min. Translation is required.
What we are expecting
- mountaineering expedition to the mountain regions of the world,
- Competitions: mountaineering, rock climbing, ice climbing,
- Video about mounts (no more then 5 min lasting).
All films must be sent on VHS, C-VHS, Video-8, î1-8 and on 16 mm films as well. Every film must be on separate cassette with a short annotation: about yourself, briefly about film, contacts, nomination. Cassette should be send to:

Nomination
From films submitted to the competition, international jury will determine the award winners in five categories:
- Mountain expeditions.
- Nature in mountains (films about mounts).
- A man and rocks (rock climbing films).
- To lost friends dedicated.
- Musical video roll (no more then 5 min.)
Special prizes for best camera in extreme conditions, for a humor, and the audience selected the winner of the People's Choice award.
